What is Slide?

Slide is a compact portable charger and carrying case for Juul Device. Pro Version comes with storage for up to three pods.


How do I charge Slide?

Use the supplied cable to connect your Slide to a USB charging port to initiate charging. Make sure the USB charger has a minimum output of 5V1A.

 

When charging, the indicator will light up and blink to show that power is being transferred. When Slide is fully charged, all 4 indicators will be lit up, and you may unplug the micro USB. It usually takes 1-2 hours to achieve a full charge with no usage.

 

Note: Inserting the Juul Device into Slide charger while charging from a USB power source will allow both Juul Device and Slide to charge.



How do I charge my Juul Device?

Slide your Juul Device USB side down into the Slide to initiate the charge. When properly engaged, the LED lights will illuminate indicating charging is in process. When Juul Device indicator lights turn solid green, Juul Device is fully charged. The Juul Device indicator will turn off around 30sec after it is fully charged.

 

Note: Always remove skin or any cover from the Juul Device before inserting into Slide


How do I check Slide’s battery level?

The Slide charger indicators will light up every time you insert the Juul Device into the charger. The indicators will turn on throughout the charge and represent the remaining battery level left in the charger.

 

  • 1x LED = 1 - 25%
  • 2x LED = 26 - 50%
  • 3x LED = 51 - 75%
  • 4x LED = > 75%


How do I store the additional pods?

Slide can store up to three pods in the outer channel. Simply slide pods into holder along-side. To release, push the pods upwards.

 

Note: Please make sure the pod cap is on to avoid leakage.


What kind of battery is in the Slide?

Slide uses a lithium-ion polymer.

How long does the Slide battery last on a single charge?

How long the battery lasts depends on a number of factors. Slide only spends battery life as often as you use your Juul Device —the more you use the Juul Device on a daily basis, the more battery it will use. Slide is designed to last for 2-3 charges for your Juul Device on a full charge.


What charger should I use?

Slide could be charged with USB charger with minimal 1A output or above. But do make sure the charger is safety certified (with UL or ETL mark) and charge under safe condition (e.g. not under direct sunlight, not near microwave or heat source such as radiator / fire, not near water source or on wet surface.).


How will I know when Slide needs to charge?

Slide’s LED battery indicator lets you know when it's time to charge up again. When the battery level is lower than 3%, the first LED light will blink indicating that it is time to charge the Slide. You can check the battery level at any time when Juul Device is inserted and indicator lights illuminate.


Can I overcharge the battery?

No. Slide comes equipped with built in over-charge, and temperature protection, so you can charge with confidence.


Is Slide Weather Resistant

No. You do not want water anywhere near your Slide especially near your micro USB ports.


Can I take Slide on an airplane?

Yes! Your Slide battery is compliant with current airline policies, FAA, TSA, and DOT regulations and meets UN/DOT 38.3 requirements. It is allowed in the cabin and can be carried onto any flight. Please note that while Slide and your Juul Device should be taken in carry-on bags through security, vaping is not allowed on airplanes and is strictly prohibited aboard both domestic and international flights by federal law. 


Can I puff on the Juul Device while it’s charging?

No! Slide must be removed from the charger’s base in order to smoke. Slide makes it easy to slide the Juul Device off and on the charging port while still housed in Slide for quick puff access.


Can Slide hold more than one Juul Device?

Slide is designed to hold and charge one Juul Device e-cigarette Device on one side and three Juul Device pods on the other. It is not designed to hold multiple Juul Device e-cigarettes.


Will Slide hold unofficial Juul Device compatible pods?

Slide is not designed to hold unofficial Juul Device compatible pods. Please use only licensed Juul Device pods in Slide’s outer channel.


Can I charge my Slide and Juul Device at the same time?

Yes! Inserting the Juul Device into Slide charger while charging from a USB power source will allow both Juul Device and Slide to charge. Slide is designed to charge both your Juul Device and Device at the same time. When the Juul Device and Slide indicator lights turn off, the Device is fully charged.

Troubleshooting

My Slide is not charging?


A  Slide on low battery can take anywhere between 1-2 hours on average to obtain a full charge. There are many factors that can contribute to longer than normal charge times or inconsistent charging behavior is usage. First and foremost, if you’re puffing your Juul Device while charging the device it will directly impact the length of a full charge period.

One of the most common issues users have with charging is that a connector comes loose. Make sure you have a solid connection to the Slide’s MicroUSB port and the charging cable has a clean connection to the USB port. If you suspect the Slide can not draw enough power we recommend trying another USB port and checking the cable / connector for damage.

 

Since the device is meant to be portable, over time lint on the units connections could build up and block the connectors. The MicroUSB port has very delicate connectors that can easily bend or snap off under too much pressure. While it’s not recommended cleaning yourself, if you do try it’s best to clean the port very carefully. If you use compressed air duster make sure to release any moisture buildup from the can first. Moisture should never touch a MicroUSB port.


Why is Slide no longer charging my Juul Device?

There are many factors that can contribute to your Juul Device not charging while inserted into Slide. One of the most common issues users have with charging is that the Juul Device device is not making a secure connection to Slide’s charging base. If you have a solid connection and it is still not charging, we recommend cleaning the charge contacts on your Juul Device using a cotton swab slightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol.


Please note: Do not attempt to clean the Slide with isopropyl alcohol.



Why did the refill pods leak while inside Slide?

One of the most common issues users have with pods leaking is pressure. Mainly from when the pods get pressed by heavy weight when you carry it, the ending result is a pod can leak. We recommend making sure to keep Slide’s outer channel free from pressure.


What are your cleaning and care instructions?

We recommend using a soft dry cloth, or for stubborn stains use a soft cloth with a diluted mild detergent. Do not use alcohol-based fluids or abrasive materials.


Warranty & Returns

What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can submit a return within thirty (30) days of purchase. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused, unopened in the original packaging, and must include all packing material, manuals, documentation, and accessories. The value of any missing items will be deducted from the credit amount of a return.  

 

Only items that have been purchased directly from www.Slidecharger.com can be returned to Slide. Proof of purchase required. Proof of purchase required. Please include your name, email address and order number when requesting a return.

 

Delivery fees are non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or transit damage. Slide reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the client.

 

Non-functioning Slide or damaged during shipment

If your item(s) non-functioning upon arrival, no need to worry, we’ll make sure you are taken care of with a return or replacement. Contact our support staff within fourteen (7) days of receiving the purchase.


How do I make a return?

To ship your return item(s) to Slide, you must first contact Slide Support by email to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Please include your name, email address and order number when requesting a return. To get started on your return send us an email at support@Slidecharger.com.

 

If you have multiple items to return, you may pack them in a single box with the packing slip and printed RMA instructions. We recommend using the original packaging. Affix the address label to the outside of your return box and make sure to write the RMA number on the shipping label on the outside of the package. Once we receive the item(s), we will issue a refund as applicable.

 

We are committed to inspecting returns and processing refunds quickly, so you will likely receive notice of your refund within 10-14 days of your return arriving to our warehouse. While refunds leave our account immediately, it can take from a few days to up to 2 billing cycles for the money to appear in your account. Please allow additional return shipping time for returns from military bases (APO/FPO).

 

Note: We will only exchange items for the same product per our warranty policy if damaged or defective.



Does Slide come with a warranty?

Orders & Shipping

What is the minimum age to purchase Slide?

The minimum age to purchase Slide on Slidecharger.com is 21 years or older. You will be asked to verify your age upon entering the website.



What is the status of my order?

After your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. From that email you can click a link in that notification to be taken to your order status page, where you can view the order status and tracking information! Once your order is on its way, you'll receive a second shipping notification via email.

 

If you're having trouble finding your order confirmation email or tracking your order, don't hesitate to email us at support@Slidecharger.com. Just a note, once the package leaves our warehouse, the customer is responsible to work with the carrier. But always feel free to let us know if we can assist!


Can I cancel or change my order?

We process orders very quickly in order to ensure the fastest delivery possible. If your order has not started processing, we will do our best to accommodate all update requests. Once your order has gone into a processing queue with our distribution center, we cannot make any changes.


Please check all information very carefully before placing your order. If you discover a mistake with your address, please contact us ASAP.


What are the payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo! We cannot split payments between credit cards. We do not accept cash, check, or money orders. Please note orders are subject to review.



How long does it take to ship?

Please allow 1-2 business days for orders to be processed from our distribution center. Our warehouse is based in the state of California, United States and ships Monday through Friday. We do not ship Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays observed in the USA.  

 

Orders placed on Friday after 12:00PM ET or over the weekend will begin processing the following Monday. Once your order leaves our warehouse, standard shipping takes 2 - 7 business days for delivery on domestic orders.

Where do we ship to?

At this time, we can only ship within the continental United States. We cannot ship orders to APO / FPO military addresses, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.


What is the cost of shipping?

We offer low, flat rate shipping for $5.95. Please carefully read any shipping notifications in the product description and check-out process.


Why has my tracking not updated?

If you receive a notification that say your order has shipped and the carrier sites says your “Tracking number can’t be found” or “Label Created, not yet in system,” try again in a few hours. Sometimes the carrier can take up to 24 hours to receive the package and update the status. No need to worry, your order is on its way!

 

If it’s been more than 3 business days and your tracking status has not changed please reach out to support@Slidecharger.com so we can look into your order with our distribution center.


Why is my order being Returned to Sender?

If your parcel is being returned to sender for any reason our customer support team will reach out to you to confirm a new address once the item arrives back at our warehouse. If we are able to make contact we will re-ship your item(s), if not you will be refunded for the purchase price of the products minus the shipping cost.


Once the item(s) arrives back at our warehouse you will be refunded for the purchase price of the item(s) minus the shipping cost. You will be responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes, and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Slide. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.


Please note:  When an order is sent back to our warehouse, the carrier will send the item back via the slowest and cheapest shipping method to incur the least amount of cost. This typically results are longer return transit times and may affect your refund period.


Incorrect Address


If the shipping address on your order is incorrect or incomplete, please note that we cannot change the delivery address after an order has shipped. If the item is undeliverable, once it’s returned to us, we can process a replacement a replacement order (in the continental US only). 


Lost or Stolen Orders

We ship with the most reliable carriers worldwide. Once the package has left our warehouse, Slide cannot be held accountable for lost, stolen or mis-delivered packages. Please contact the carrier assigned to your order and see if they have any insight. If they are unable to assist, please email support@Slidecharger.com so we can work with you to resolve this.
